Rebuilding a flightdeck for the Ilyushin Il18

E-mail Print PDF

We are currently working in rebuilding a flight deck on a Ilyushin 18 that is parked outside Teuge/Deventer Airport in the Netherlands

The aircraft will be turned into a hotel suite with jacuzzi, sauna and lounge room for all those honeymooners that wat to sleep in an aircraft (alone!)

We we talked to the owner and convince him that it would be a good idea to keep the flight deck working. He agreed and we are rebuilding it from the bottom up. All dials will be illuminated and many of the switches will work again. The Radar will be displaying old radar pictures and we will install a radio scanner for the air band freq's

See the menu Ilyushin 18 for more info

The dream and Idea

The Ultimate dream the Final 737-800 Non Motion Simulator

Our goal is to get children flying at an early age. give them the opportunity to see what it is to be in a Boeing 737 Aircraft and have the real idea that you can fly this. Yes children are great learners and many children over the last years have made the move to start a cereer in Aviation.

Our Goal is to demonstrate this as accurate as possible with a very limited budget. We are doing this for the fun of flight and nothing else.
We show our flightdeck to the FSweekend (ELHE Airtport) visitors every year and we invite primary schools to come and visit us.

Again no strings attached and we want to try to be a flightschool, we are not
But we try to give them the fisrt positive expierience.
